2021/22 TIPPING COMPETITION

Tipping Comp Rules:
- Entry Fee of AUD$5 / HKD$30 per week (no fee if you don't enter tips that week)
- Tips to be submitted before Race 1. You can DM me the tips or post them directly into this chat. Tips that are messaged to me privately will be released for all other participants to see after Race 1. Tips cannot be amended after Race 1. If your horse gets scratched, the race favourite becomes your automatic selection. 
- 1 tip per race (must tip entire card), taken on an $10 each way ($10 on the win and $10 on the place) basis, with the highest aggregate score winning each week. Prices to be based on HKJC closing totes (which can be found on the HKJC website). 
- The scoring system encourages you to tip value runners. To give you an example - if Player A tipped Golden Sixty last Sunday, they would score $22.10 ($12 for the win and $10.1 for the place), but Player B would actually receive more points for that race if they tipped Ka Ying Star, even though it came third, scoring $30 ($0 for the win and $30 for the place). So even if you think a $2.0 pop will win, something it's advantageous to tip something which has more value. Just food for thought!
